I came as a complete beginner, and there were so many moments where I wanted to give up because I was scared or felt overwhelmed in the water. But Dhanuth never gave up on me. He kept motivating and pushing me in the best way — always with so much patience, kindness, and empathy. Even in very busy surf spots where I felt intimidated and didn’t dare to go for waves, he helped me find my place in the lineup and made me feel safe and supported at all times. He would guide me through the crowd, help me catch waves, and never leave me alone in the water. That gave me so much confidence and helped me progress way more than I expected. What I appreciated most was that he really understood when I was struggling mentally or physically and knew exactly when to encourage me and when to calm me down. Thanks to him, I improved so much and started truly enjoying surfing.
